Power Grid Cybersecurity & Privacy Engineer
Summary
As a Power Grid Cybersecurity & Privacy Engineer, you will be on the front lines of defending our critical energy infrastructure. You will design and implement state-of-the-art security measures to protect the smart grid from sophisticated cyber threats and ensure the privacy of consumer data.
Responsibilities
Design and implement multi-layered security architectures resilient to threats like False Data Injection Attacks, Denial of Service (DoS), and spoofing.
Deploy and manage AI-powered threat detection systems that use machine learning to identify anomalous network traffic and energy data patterns indicative of a cyberattack.
Implement advanced Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) techniques, including Federated Learning (FL) to train models locally, Differential Privacy (DP) to anonymize data, and Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) for secure computation.
Lead the adoption of a Zero-Trust Architecture, ensuring strict identity verification for every device, user, and application accessing the grid network.
Investigate and deploy Blockchain technology to create a secure, immutable, and transparent ledger for high-stakes energy transactions and data exchanges.
Work with Digital Twin Analysts to simulate cyber-attack and defense scenarios, validating the robustness of security measures in a safe, virtual environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
Deep knowledge of OT/ICS security, network protocols, and threat intelligence.
Hands-on experience with security frameworks (Zero-Trust) and privacy-enhancing technologies (FL, DP, FHE).
Experience with AI/ML applications in cybersecurity is a major plus.

Generative AI Solutions Architect (Power Systems)
Summary
This is a visionary, forward-looking role focused on harnessing the revolutionary power of generative AI to redefine power systems management. You will lead the development of next-generation tools that will accelerate planning, enhance decision-making, and create new energy paradigms.
Responsibilities
Lead the research and development of a "virtual assistant" for grid operators (e.g., an eGridGPT), capable of interpreting complex data, suggesting actions, and simulating outcomes in real-time.
Architect and build natural language interfaces that allow non-technical personnel to query complex grid data and receive comprehensive, AI-generated reports.
Utilize generative models to create high-fidelity synthetic data for training more robust Al models, especially for rare fault conditions and cybersecurity threat detection.
Design generative AI solutions to dramatically accelerate complex engineering processes, such as grid interconnection studies and transmission line routing.
Explore and prototype novel applications, such as AI-driven peer-to-peer energy markets and fully automated operational workflows.
Collaborate with ethical and regulatory officers to address the unique challenges of generative AI, including "hallucinations" and model transparency.
Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in AI/ML. Expert-level knowledge of large language models (LLMs), transformers, and generative AI frameworks.
Experience in prompt engineering, fine-tuning models, and deploying AI at scale.
Creative, strategic thinker with the ability to translate cutting-edge research into practical applications.
Strong understanding of power systems concepts is highly preferred.
